A young man takes his gay lover to meet his parents in the early months of their relationship, and plays his boyfriend off as being his roommate so as not to incite disapproval from his family. This is a short excerpt from a much longer project, which is almost entirely written in epistolary format.–
A gay, possibly mildly autistic man recounts his loving but enmeshed relationship with his mother, and her emotional reliance on him in the wake of her miscarriage.
