Six for Sunday is a weekly blog post by Steph @ A Little But A Lot where you share six books that to share to go with that Sunday’s prompt. Today’s prompt is favorite books under 200 pages. I already did a list a lot like this (but it was books under 250 pages instead of 200,) so I’ll leave a link to that list and confine this to books I’ve read quite recently.
Sometimes it makes me feel guilty that I tend to shy away from lengthy and dense literature in favor of slighter fiction I can read within a few days, although it’s also true the length of a book doesn’t ensure quality. There are writers who can tell just as good a story in just over 100 pages as they could with a 400+ ‘GoT’-sized behemoth. I’ve been lucky enough to come across some great books that suited my could-be-better attention span, and I wanted to share a compilation of the on my blog. NOTE: I will be including novellas and novels that are on the shorter side on this list but no short stories.
